Understanding
minds together.
About.
Ellise Barnier
Clinical psychologist
Master of Clinical Psychology
Master of Research
Board-approved supervisor with AHPRA.
Ellise is a clinical psychologist and published researcher with a deep interest in how people experience their mind, body, and the world.
Ellise is especially drawn to working with people who feel at odds with their own minds.
She provides individual therapy to young people and adults. She also supports professionals, educators, and workplaces through training and education, helping them understand a range of minds and the environments that can help them thrive.
Ellise’s clinical interests include ADHD, autism, and broader neurodivergence, trauma and PTSD, OCD, anxiety, emotion regulation, stress, and burnout. In her experience, these things rarely exist in isolation.
People’s minds make sense in ways the world doesn’t always accommodate.
Ellise also focuses on understanding people in context. She considers the systems, relationships, and environments that influence how someone shows up in the world.
